Lancaster County, Pennsylvania red, white, and navy blue jacquard coverlet by Peter Harting (Hartung), the corner blocks inscribed "Peter Hartung 1834" with dove and tree border, the interior with floral medallions and sunbursts, 101" x 84". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 30 and 31.
Overall very good. A few very small losses.
