Lancaster County, Pennsylvania painted dower chest by Johannes Rank (1763-1828), decorated with three ivory panels with potted flowers, the middle pot signed and dated 1789 by the maker, all on a blue ground, above three sponge decorated drawers, 25'' h., 49 1/4'' w.
