Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Native American Indian percussion trade gun, .60 caliber, the barrel inscribed with a Native American bust surrounded by dots and J. H. for either Jacob or John Haeffer, with a relief carved stock with period brass tacks and rawhide wraps and a 34 3/8'' octagonal to round smoothbore barrel.
Condition
Description should read: Haeffer (NOT Heutter). Flintlock conversion, barrel is proof marked, thin brass butt plate, nose cap appears to be animal sinew, overall very good.
