Kentucky navy blue and white jacquard coverlet by Carl Lewis Kean, the corner blocks inscribed "Made. By. C.L. Kean." depicting a potted flower, the borders with birds, rose bushes, trees, potted tulips, and bucks, the interior with leaf and flower decoration, 97" x 98". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 130 and 131.
Good overall condition. Some stains. Losses to fringe with some minor edge loss. Sporadic small losses to blue. A couple very small holes.
