Jurgan Frederick Huge (American 1809-1878), sketchbook with twelve pencil drawings, inscribed on inside front cover J. F. Huge's sketchbook it came from Anne Richardson's house the ship with the French flag is by far the best drawn, 7 1/2'' x 10 1/2''. Provenance: Anne Richardson (granddaughter of the artist), Avis and Rockville Gardiner, Stamford, CT; David Schorsch, 1990.
Condition
Edge wear to book cover. First drawing with 1" edge tear. Minor sporadic foxing and toning. Overall very good condition. Provenance: The Ralph Esmerian Collection, New York, NY.
