Jonathan Jessop walnut tall case clock, ca. 1795, with a carved broken arch bonnet with rosette and flame finials flanking a central chip carved plinth, above a facia inlaid with the initials JOD, the face inscribed Jonathan Jessop York Town, all above a waist with an elaborately scalloped door flanked by quarter columns, resting on a base with a pronounced scalloped panel and ogee feet, 94 3/4" h. Provenance: Philip Bradley Antiques.
Parts: two weights, winder, pendulum. Finials replaced. Rosettes replaced. Touch-up to numbers of dial. Feet replaced. Pook & Pook, Inc. does not guarantee clocks to be complete or in working condition.
