John R. Brennan Black Hills & Fort Pierre Railway Pass, for Mr. John R. Brennan and family, good until December 31, 1893, signed by T. J. Grier, General Manager. John Brennan, in addition to being one of the founders of Rapid City in 1876, was also the last agent of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation (1900-1917). William "Buffalo Bill" Cody relied on him to recruit Sioux members of Pine Ridge to perform in his "Wild West" show, 3 3/4" x 2 1/4".
