Johann Henrich Otto(Lancaster and Northumberland Counties, Pennsylvania, active 1762-1797) - Taufschein, hand-drawn watercolor and ink on laid paper dated 1740, for Anna Margaretha Hunzer(born 1715 and came to Lancaster County in 1740), with red and black script flanked by elaborate stylized green, yellow, and red flowers and vines over 2 parrots flanking a pineapple, signed center lower right, 13" x 16" (losses). This is possibly the earliest known Otto fraktur. Provenance: Horst Auctions, 1994.
