Johann Heinrich Otto (Southeastern Pennsylvania, active 1762-1797), watercolor and ink on paper taufschein, completely hand done, for Barbara Schuder, 1797, Northumberland County, with a large central heart within an intricate floral and leaf border enclosing script, all surrounded by starbursts, peacocks, parrots, and trailing floral vines in green, red, blue, and ochre, 13" x 16". Provenance: Herbert Schiffer.
