Johann Heinrich Otto(active, 1762-1797), Lancaster and Northumberland Counties, Pennsylvania watercolor and ink on paper "The Great Comet", dated 1769, with central script flanked by potted intricate floral trees, birds, cartouche with angel and a red star trail, at the bottom, 13" x 16 1/4". Vertical and horizontal creases. Allover light tanning and foxing. Not examined out of frame.
