Jacob Maentel (American 1763-1863), three watercolor and ink on paper portraits of the Hottenstein family of Berks County, Pennsylvania, including Jacob Hottenstein in a Revolutionary war uniform, Henry Hottenstein, inscribed Gebohren den 8 January 1791, and Miss Doretha Hottenstein, wearing a long blue dress and having a bird perched on her finger, inscribed Gebohren den 24th Juny 1805, largest 10" x 8".
