Impressive John Bell stoneware harvest jug with extensive cobalt floral decoration and applied loop handles, the neck stamped John Bell, the reverse inscribed Waynesboro PA May 12th 1860 within a scrolling cartouche, the base inscribed in script Waynesboro PA May 12th 1860 JW Bell, 17 3/4" h. This is one of the most important pieces of Bell stoneware to come on the market in recent years.
