Important George Armstrong Custer handwritten and signed letter dated October 22, 1874, discussing the virtues of the Rigby rifle and the growing attention being paid to rifle practice. He goes on to request that two copies of Life on the Plains be sent to Mayor Leech and Mr. Rigby, two - 8" x 9 3/4".
