Important Delaware Valley Queen Anne tiger maple high chest, ca. 1750, the upper section with a molded cornice over 4 graduated long drawers, the uppermost carved to simulate 3 short drawers, resting on a lower section with one long drawer also simulating 3 short drawers, over 2 short drawers, above a scalloped skirt supported by cabriole legs terminating in stocking drake feet, 69" h., 40" w. Provenance: Descended in the family to the present owner.
