Imperial German Prussian garde regiment saber and scabbard, with Latin inscribed star on the langet Suum Cuique (to each all according to his merits), the opposing langet with relief shield, wire wrapped shagreen grip, lion head pommel, cross guard also terminates in a lion head, with oak leaf hand guard, 30 3/4" blade.
Scabbard overpainted black, gold finish wear throughout.
