Identified US Springfield Krag model 1898 bolt action rifle, .30-40 Krag caliber, with AHW carved in left butt stock with a T to the right butt stock, accompanied by The Gun Report from May 2006 with an article on this particular gun belonging to Archy H. Wall an African American soldier who served during the Philippine War of Independence, 30'' barrel. SN 212460 C&R
Normal handling marks to stock, metal blue turning brown, strong rifling, overall very good condition.
