Hudson Valley gumwood kas, late 18th c., retaining an old red varnish surface, 78" h., 60" w.
21 1/4" d. (not including cornice), 28" d. (with cornice). Old mellow surface. A few small repairs and abrasions. Overall good condition. Width given does not include cornice. Kas comes apart (cornice, body, base, and two interior shelves). Provenance: The Collection of George Dittmar, Low Meadow Farm, Cream Ridge, New Jersey.
