Hilltown, Pennsylvania painted poplar tall case clock, ca. 1780, the broken arch bonnet with carved sunflower rosette, over a tombstone door enclosing a 30-hour brass works, inscribed "Benjn Morris Hill Tn No 23", over a case with a door with arched top flanked by fluted quarter columns, over a base with fluted quarter columns resting on straight bracket feet, retaining an overall vibrant red and black grain decoration, 95" h.
