Highly rare T.G. Hawkes and Co. clear glass goblet, engraved by William H. Morse, decorated with 3 scenes depicting the fabled history of the Edenhall glass, all within floral borders, above a faceted stem with bellflower chain and flared base, inscribed "The Luck of Edenhall", signed on base "Edenhall Hawkes", signed "W.H. Morse", below the depiction of the "Presentation of the Goblet", 11" h. Illustrated in Spillman The American Cut Glass Industry, figs. 8-1 and 8-2. Provenance: The Estate of Anne Brossman Sweigart, Ephrata, PA.
