Henrich Weiss, attributed(Southeastern Pennsylvania, active 1776-1808) - Taufschein, hand-drawn watercolor and ink on laid paper, for Georg Rohrbach, 1782, District Township, Berks County, with central rectangular panel with elaborate floral borders, enclosing German script surrounded by 4 hearts, typical intricate tulip vines and flowers, various stylized flowers, and corners with scalloped and pointed stars with flowers at the points, executed in shades of red, blue, yellow, and green, 13" x 16"(Weiss appears to be the decorator but not the scrivener on this piece).
