Harry Clarke(British, 1891-1931), watercolor of cranes, initialed upper right, 11 3/4" x 8 1/4". Provenance: Collection of Alfred I du Pont, Nemours Mansion, Delaware(now a museum); descended in the family to the current owner.
Examined out of frame. Signed and titled verso. Inscribed verso: "The Storks". Signed "Harry Clarke". The number "30" is written on the bottom middle edge in pencil and on back above inscription. Overall good color and wonderful detail. Laid down on mat board (window cut out to view inscription). Good condition. No apparent touch-ups or repairs. Provenance: Collection of Alfred I. du Pont, Nemours Mansion, Delaware (now a museum), descended in the family to the current owner.
