Harry Bertoia (American 1915-1978), copper floating island, the base made by Harry Bertoia and the sculpture completed with "trees" at Bertoia Studios, numbered on underside B-165, 5 1/2'' h., 28 3/4'' w., 16 1/2'' l.
Body is one of several made. Base was made by Harry Bertoia. The scupture was completed later by Bertoia Studios, who added the trees. Good condition. No apparent damages or repairs. Provenance: Berks County estate.
