Harrisburg, Pennsylvania silk on linen sampler dated 1819, wrought by Sarah Dougherty at Mrs. Leah Meguiers school, with a large central scene of a young man and woman within a blocked border with vignettes of eagle, moon, young children, etc., 18 1/2" x 19".
