Harcourt of Ipswich flintlock pistol, approx. .50 cal., the barrel marked Ipswich, with British proofs, the lock marked Harcourt, with a nicely checkered English walnut stock with barrel held by two keys and an ornate trigger guard with a pineapple finial, 9" bright octagonal smoothbore barrel. Bright barrel with some light pitting. Fully functional flintlock with strong main and frizzen springs. Crisp checkering on stock. Period, but not original to gun ramrod. Small 1" chip out of left side of stock opposite lock. Overall fine condition.
