Hall-North model 1840 percussion carbine, .52 caliber, type II, with fish tail type lever and brass hammer, 21" round barrel.
Stock has been cut to accomodate only one barrel bond. Missing ramrod. Remaining wood has been varnished and has numerous chips and scratches. Barrel and breech block lightly pitted. Block dated 1842 and shows evidence of polishing. Fully functional action.
