Half stock double barrel smooth bore rifle, approximately .45 caliber, right barrel flat marked {J. Harder} and left barrel flat marked {Athens, PA}, the back action and locks marked {Cooper}, and the three-piece brass patch box with silver inlay of a stag on the buttstock, 30 1/2" octagonal to round barrels.
Barrels turning brown with light pitting, replacement ramrod. 3" x 1/4" chip out of stock above right lock, right hammer bent inward, hammers do not cock, rifle sights on both barrels behind_____ separating___ from round portion of barrels. 3/4" x 1/2" gouge to butt stock between left check rest and brass butt plate.
