Hair purportedly from George Washington, part of a group of various souvenirs from the Engle family of Haddonfield, New Jersey, the hair with a note inscribed from the bier of Washington, another note inscribed taken from old comb of Washington, Mt. Vernon 1856, also a box with a shot ball, inscribed from the home of Washington 02/1851, and other small trinket boxes of various, shells, stones and keepsakes, all within an early 19th c. wall paper box.
