Kurtz(American, late 19th c.), unusual watercolor and pencil ship portrait of the steamboat "Elizabeth Monroe Smith", which served as the daily transport of the Sanitarium at Red Bank, NJ, signed lower right "Drawn by H.I. Kurtz 1888", 12" x 15". Accompanying this lot is an early photograph of the steamboat and a copy of the 1888 annual report of the Sanitarium Association of Philadelphia.
