Georgian oak windsor armchair, mid 18th c., the underside retaining a brass plaque detailing the chairs history including its trip to the colonies aboard the packet ship of Joshua Fisher and its descent in the Fisher family.
Seat width - 21" (widest point). Seat depth - 17 1/4". Seat height (front and rear - floor to top of seat) - 17 1/2". Height of back - 41 1/2". Metal brace added to medial slat where crest rail meets it. Otherwise in good condition.
