George Washington and Thomas Jefferson signed three language ship's papers, May 21st 1794, issued in English, French, and Dutch to George Smith, master and commander of the Schooner Hector, traveling from Salem to Curacao, countersigned by Josua Hiller, 15 7/8'' x 12 5/8''. Another ship's papers issued to George Smith was sold at Heritage Auctions, November 4, 2015, lot 49100. Provenance: The Estate of Robert S. Knox, New Oxford, Pennsylvania.

Unframed. Folds. A couple 1/4'' patches to holes at folds. Larger patch underneath and left of seal.
