George III mahogany slant front desk, ca. 1760, the fall front enclosing a pagoda interior with blind fretwork, over a case with 2 over 4 drawers flanked by fretwork corners supported by elaborately carved bracket base, 54" h., 42" w.
Large split on lid. Repair to blowout of hinges. Small break on one interior shelf. Brasses replaced. Worm damage. Hole in back of lower drawer. Sporadic patches and loss to fretwork. Foot facings repaired.
