George II oak tea table, ca. 1750, the piecrust top tilting above a grapevine carved standard supported by cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, 26 3/4" h., 26 3/4" dia.
Top has two narrow 1/4" x 3" wood inlaid cleats in top. Old repair to 2 1/2" of piecrust. Several small repairs where screws from bottom punctured top surface. One batten replaced. Old repair to top of shaft. Ball has unusual grape and leaf carving, very nice. Pads on bottom of feet built up due to wear.
