George II mahogany upholstered easy chair, ca. 1750, with shell carved cabriole front legs terminating in pad feet.
Crest - 40" h., Seat - 20" h., arms - 28" h. Depth - 26", Width - 27 1/2" (outside of arm to arm). Repaired breaks to toes. Rear knee returns probably added for structural support. Upholstery has not been removed, but does have losses. Provenance: Estate of Elinor Gordon, PA.
