George II Japanned tall case clock, mid 18th c., the sarcophagus bonnet with blind fretwork, enclosing an eight-day works with a brass face, inscribed Isaac Rogers London, 92" h.
Red wash covering surface to fill chips/losses. One front column on bonnet replaced. Base cut. Provenance: The Collection of Captain Hall Jackson Tibbits (1797-1872), Long Island, NY.
