George"Frolic" Weymouth (American 1936-2016), tempera on board landscape of Big Bend, Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, signed lower right, 22" x 28". Big Bend was the artist's home on the Brandywine River where he spent his life painting, entertaining, and organizing his prolific philanthropic pursuits. This large landscape captures the quietness of the estate's rolling hills. Provenance: Gift of the artist to the present owner.
