G. B. Chiariglioni (Italian, late 19th c.), watercolor interior with a seated cardinal, signed lower right, 21 1/2'' x 14 3/4''. Losses to frame. No tears to paper on which drawing is done. Possible damp staining to book and door frame. No other apparent stains. No matting. The piece has been laid on a larger piece of paper and the edges have been painted over to match (not easily reversible). Otherwise in good condition. No other apparent inpainting or condition issues.
