French silver hilted hunting sword, 18th c., with almost flat pommel and raised grotesque face and capstan rivet, the channeled ebony grip with "S" shaped guillons and decorative ridges with 1 3/4" oval silver medallion inlaid into the grip, the inlay has an Indian with a bow and arrow and Philadelphia-General McDonald 1752 etched into periphony, total length - 28 1/2", blade length - 23".
