French flaming bomb crested artillery leather helmet, mid 19th c., over pressed felt, complete with field badges and brass scaled chin strap with lion head boss on right side.
Lacking one lion button, brass crest is loose, liner has become un-stitched with glue residue, left field badge is broken, one scale is loose on strap, crazing to leather.
