Frederich Linebach (Lancaster County, Pennsylvania) watercolor and ink on paper fraktur, done for Lidia Barth, 1836, West Cocalico Township, with a central circle enclosing two birds and tulips arising from a pot, surmounted by a blue house and flanked by tulip vines and hearts, all over a rectangle with script, within a herringbone border with stars in the corners, signed in the center blue strip Frederich Linebach, all in vibrant yellow, green, blue, and rust, 9 1/2" x 7 7/8". Provenance: John Davidson.
Light toning. Overall very nice condition. Provenance: Lots 1-155, the Collection of Jack & Mary Louise Krumrine, Philadelphia, PA.
