Franklin H. Eshelman(American, 19th/20th c.), oil on canvas Berks County, Pennsylvania farm scene titled "Old Snyder Farm and Bertolet Log Cabin", signed lower right "F.H. Eshelman" and initialed on stretcher "FHE '97", 26" x 42". The log cabin depicted was moved between 1965 and 1967 and reconstructed on the Daniel Boone Homestead. Provenance: Paul R. Eshelman. Exhibited at the Reading Public Museum 1982. For a similar example see Sotheby's, January 2002, lot 866, The Collection of Julie and Sandy Paley, depicting the same farm in the Oley Valley.
Signed lower right F.H. Eshelman. Good condition. No apparent damages or repairs.
