Franklin H. Eshelman (American 19th/20th c.), oil on canvas Berks County, Pennsylvania farm scene, titled Old Snyder Farm and Bertolet Log Cabin, signed lower right F.H. Eshelman and initialed on stretcher FHE '97, 26" x 42". The log cabin depicted was moved between 1965 and 1967 and reconstructed on the Daniel Boone Homestead. This piece was exhibited at the Reading Public Museum in 1982. For a similar example, see Sotheby's, January 2002, lot 866, The Collection of Julie and Sandy Paley, depicting the same farm in the Oley Valley.
