Francis Charles Portzline (Southeastern Pennsylvania, active 1800-1855), watercolor and ink on paper taufschein done for Johannes Buffard, 1819, Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, with a central heart enclosing script, flanked by red birds perched in tulip trees and typical calligraphy designs, all in green, yellow, and red, signed lower right Francis Portzline, 8" x 11 1/2".
