Framed group of Pennsylvania wrought iron hardware, ca. 1800, to include tulip form thumb latch, 12" l. and bar , and 2 tulip form strap hinges. Illustrated in Colonial Wrought Iron the Sorber Collection by Plummer, pg. 162, fig. 4-5. This represents an ultimate expression of the Pennsylvania blacksmith's art Provenance: Collection of James Sorber.
