Four tin lanterns, 19th c., one with an early painted surface, tallest - 18''.
Rectangular punched lantern - electrified, later black surface. Largest - electrified, as expected wear and condition consistent with age and use. Brown lantern - electrified, one pane detached, small chip to corner of one pane. Other - as expected wear and condition consistent with age and use. Pook & Pook, Inc. recommends that all electrified items be inspected by a certified electrician prior to use. Provenance: The Estate of Donald and Esther Shelley, Oley, PA.
