Fine Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania silk on linen needlework family tree inscribed "Hannah A. Foulke 1830" with potted stylized flowers, birds, willow trees, tulips, squirrel, lions, ducks, fruit trees, and crowns with the names of various family members, all within a stylized vine and leaf edge with ribbon border, worked in a variety of stitches in shades of green, blue, yellow, white and tan, 21 1/2" x 21 1/2". Hannah Foulke was born Feb. 16, 1814, the daughter of Cadwallader Foulke and Ann Shoemaker.
Excellent. Some minor darkening to a couple areas.
