Fine cross stitch embroidered hand towel, inscribed Sara Yorty 1831, with red and blue cotton designs on plain weave linen ground, featuring figures, peacocks, floral arrangements, etc., the bottom with alternating openwork panels, fringed top and bottom edge, 60" x 18 1/4".
