Exceptional wrought iron door escutcheon, 18th/19th c., in the form of an Indian with feathered headdress, 8 1/4" h., 3" dia. This piece was one of the first items acquired by James Sorber for his collection. Pictured in Colonial Wrought Iron the Sorber Collection by Plummer, pg. 234.
