Exceptional pair of French silver mounted flintlock pistols, approximately .60 caliber, having profuse foliate scroll engraving covering entire stock, the trigger guard with illegible hallmarks, two position folding leaf sight, embossed and etched floral and shell decoration, heavily embossed flared butt caps, the scroll engraved barrel inscribed Canon Tordu Seretoffe?, the lock is stamped A St. Etienne, with faux ramrods, 8 3/4'' swamped octagonal barrel. Small repair to stock at left lock screw, barrels with light surface rust, very minimal loss to silver wire, functioning locks, overall very good condition.
