Exceedingly rare New York lily pad glass compote, ca. 1840, possibly Redford Glass Works, aquamarine color, with type II and III lily pad decoration, 5 1/2" h., 7 1/2" dia. One of the rarest forms of lily pad glass. Provenance: Charlie Bridge, Watertown, New York; Glass International, June 7, 2009, lot 1; A New Jersey Collection.
