European flintlock pistol, approximately .60 caliber, with an ornately engraved and inlaid brass trigger guard, side plate, and butt cap, the lock is inscribed BERTARED, the cock has a brass inlay, a relief carved European walnut stock , a bone nose cap fitted with a replacement ramrod, and 11 3/4'' brass inlaid and engraved round barrel. Lock show some surface corrosion, stock has a crack from the lock to the barrel forward of the frizzen spring and some loss behind the cock and at the rear of the lock, also a small crack from the pineal on the forward trigger guard tang, small repairs to the brass extensions from the butt cap, lock is fully functional.
